New Build

Plans are underway to erect a purpose built preschool building in the school grounds. The total cost of the build is £250,000 and we are working closely with the school and members of the local community to try and raise the funds for this exciting new project. A new building situated within School grounds, will benefit the Pre-school children and village enormously by providing:

• Increased number of child spaces
• Longer opening hours and additional sessions
• Purpose built child-friendly facilities
• Lots of space to display the childrens work
• Immediate accessibility to outdoor play areas
• Further ability to meet imminent Government and OFSTED requirements
• Increased availability of Village Hall to other groups
• Promote interest in nature and the environment from a young age, the New Build will have a grass roof and gardening area as well as other eco features eg bat boxes, rain water containers etc
• The new building will also be more energy efficient
