Feeder Primary School.
Ugborough and Bittaford Pre-School is the main feeder preschool for Ugborough Primary School but we also feed into other schools. The preschool is situated adjacent to the school at present but the new build will be on the premises itself. We thus have very strong links with primary school and we are fortunate enough to have use of their library and extensive playground facilities.
As the children become older they generally progress to 5 sessions per week and in the term preceding their start date, we spend part of a session every week gradually introducing them to the reception class. For those children who will not be attending Ugborough Primary School other provisions are made. We put great emphasis on smoothing this transition and those that attend the preschool generally find it an easy and pleasant experience.
